SSUW is:
Ryan Lay- Guitar/Vocals

- LastFM
I don't know much about this band in all honesty except for the fact that I'm missing nearly their entire discog, so if anyone wants to help me out with that that would be dope.
this is some mid 2000's screamo hardcore that was peak myspace material, def worth a listen.

The Old Guard (MA)
- LastFM
not gonna lie, I don't know much about this band besides the fact that they were around as TOG from at least 2009 to 2013 after which they changed their name to Dry Spell, I saw on their FB that they have an acoustic EP but I can't find it. if anyone has it lmk
this EP according to my metadata was released in 2009 unsure if that's true; as for sound they sound like a mellow garage / pop punk band kinda like a more rock version of Pants Yell! or something, maybe i'm off in that judgment and you all would like to listen yourselves

Candy Hearts
"Candy Hearts are an American pop-punk band from Newark, New Jersey. The band's current line-up consists of vocalist/guitarist Mariel Loveland, drummer Matthew Ferraro and bassist John Clifford. The band was formed by Loveland and guitarist Kris Hayes (formerly of Nightmare River Band) in 2009. Loveland is the sole remaining original member. Their debut album, Ripped Up Jeans and Silly Dreams, was released for free online in 2010. It featured Loveland, Hayes, bassist Greg Baldwin and drummer Nick Noto."
I remember first listening to Candy Hearts around 2010 where I got the album I'm sharing with you now, I got it from a now defunct blog (can't remember which one) and had been hooked ever since, I was lucky enough to catch them at warped tour (RIP) and they put on an amazing show, I'd describe this band as a mixture of pop alt and rock kinda like TacocaT if you're into them, Mariel's voice might take some getting into but that never holds the music back I can think of plenty of bands around the same time period with artists who are a little difficult to get into because of their vocals initially but I can tell you that this band was really something, as for where Mariel is at now, she's the sole (?) member of the band best ex, which is expecting a new album sometime later this year which I am eager to give a listen to.
for now I'm sharing Candy Hearts' debut release / album which is what I can't find on streaming sites (unsure of the reason) all other albums can be listened to on youtube or spotify

Charly Bliss
"Charly Bliss is an American four-piece power pop band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2011 comprising Eva Hendricks (lead vocals, guitar), Spencer Fox (vocals, guitar), Sam Hendricks (drums), and Dan Shure (vocals, bass)" - LastFM
Hello, happy holidays!
uploading this today because I mistakenly thought I had uploaded it a long time ago and sent other people to search for something they couldn't find, Whoops!
anyway, as the small descriptions says above Charly Bliss plays a blend of alt rock power pop music that just sounds good, but it is definitely an acquired taste as the lead singers voice (Eva Hendricks) voice is not a very common voice in my opinion, matching that with shrill highs might be off-putting to some, I would compare her voice something similar to that of Agusta Koch (formerly of Cayetana, currently of gladie) this is just my ears making a comparison, someone might listen to both and think they sound nothing alike.
I'm including one of their earliest releases "EP" circa 2011, I thought this was out on the internet but I guess not? there are videos of Eva singing in her bedroom these songs on acoustic somewhere on youtube she must've been 17 or 18 so very cool to see how far they've come.
Secondly, I'm sharing their 2nd EP titled " A lot to say" (2013) more polished album actually has a lot of bangers aside from the Gigantic pixies cover and Heart of Glass Blondie cover which are both very good.
Lastly I'm including "Steal my sunshine" which is was an A.V Undercover cover (audio only although I have the video somewhere) and another cover of All I Want For Christmas Is You (which i think they now officially released) anyway including those for the holiday season.
ENJOY!

Yeehaw!
Honestly I don't know much about this band at all except for the fact that they only existed from 2013 (?) - 2015 which some might say is short some might say is the right amount some of the members are now pursuing other music careers in completely different genres, I think the lead singer is a tattoo artist now but I'm not quite sure and honestly am not too interested in digging very deep in, from the bandcamp page these are / were the members
Dylan Ewen: Vocals
Matt Politoski: Guitar/Vocals
Cooper Leardi: Guitar
Sai Boddupalli: Bass/Vocals
Alex Pickert: Drums/Vocals
"Surreal pop-punk from Boston, MA. Potentially satirical, potentially the best band you've ever heard." - LastFM
They have less than 500 scrobbles on LastFM which is pretty insane considering they released their second album on broken world media which was known for putting out indie / alt / emo in the early to mid 2010s.
their 2nd album I'm not including as it's free on bandcamp still even now, (link below)
I am including their first album here which I can't find anywhere online so I uploaded to Youtube and also mega so you can download.
so for the first time in presumably a long time, heres "Demotivational Speaker"
